About Us

Creighton Segars is an associate attorney with Stuckey, Fata & Segars. Creighton graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. Creighton was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2019, and also holds a special limited license to practice law in the State of Alabama. While in law school, Creighton participated in the CHAMPS Clinic where he assisted individuals with SSI issues and estate matters, and served as Treasurer of the Real Estate Law Society.

Prior to returning to his home town of Bishopville, Creighton practiced law with a mid-size employment law firm where he represented workers in termination and non-compete matters. He also worked with a southeastern regional insurance defense firm with offices across six states.

Creighton's practice areas include, but are not limited to, automobile accidents, employment, construction, personal injury, wrongful death, breach of contract, real estate transactions, probate disputes, alcohol liability, custody issues, divorces, wills, and business formation.

In 2020, Creighton was recognized by Columbia Business Monthly's Legal Elite of the Midlands for his work in employment and labor law. In 2021, Creighton was recognized as Legal Elite of the Midlands for his work in construction and insurance law. In 2022, Creighton was recognized as Legal Elite of the Midlands for his work in probate and real estate law. In 2023, Creighton was recognized as Legal Elite of the Midlands for his work in estate & trust – litigation, estate & trust – planning, and residential real estate 

Creighton previously served as an Assistant Solicitor for the Third Judicial Circuit covering Lee County. Outside of the office, Creighton enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, grilling, playing golf, and attending as many Clemson events as possible.
